FanDuel Online Sportsbook Goes Live In PA This Week

FanDuel Mobile Sportsbook PA

FanDuel will become the fourth mobile sportsbook in PA as it begins a three-day testing period before a full-scale launch sometime later this week. FanDuel will join PlaySugarHouse, BetRivers and Parx as mobile sportsbooks that have gone live in the state so far during 2019.

FanDuel is the sports betting partner of the Valley Forge Casino. The announcement of the new new mobile sportsbook comes four months after the joint Valley Forge and FanDuel sportsbook opened in the King of Prussia casino in March.

The Pennsylvania incarnation of the FanDuel Sportsbook is in a good position for success in PA, as the sportsbook is already number one in New Jersey when ranked by online sports betting revenue for 2019.

About the FanDuel PA Mobile Sportsbook

Eligible sports bettors that are located in the state can place bets via the PA FanDuel Sportsbook app or website. The iOS app has earned an impressive 4.4 rating in the Apple iOS store, a reputation that it has mostly received from sports bettors in the New Jersey sportsbook. The FanDuel Android app is not available in the Google Play Store, but can be downloaded directly from the FanDuel website.

The FanDuel PA sportsbook will undergo three days of testing beginning at 4 PM ET. It will be followed by longer test periods on Tuesday and Wednesday before a likely full launch on Thursday.

  • July 22nd – 4 PM to midnight ET
  • July 23rd – 2 PM to midnight ET
  • July 24th – noon to midnight ET
  • After July 25th – 24/7

The FanDuel PA mobile sportsbook offers new sports bettors a bonus up to $500. Sports bettors can bet on a number of different sports including baseball, basketball, football, hockey, soccer and even some sports you wouldn’t necessarily expect. We’re not sure who would be interested in Pennsylvania, but you can also bet on cricket and rugby.

Who else is in so far?

With the launch of the FanDuel Online Sportsbook, there are now four different sportsbooks offering online sports betting through apps and websites in Penn.

  • PlaySugarHouse
  • BetRivers
  • Parx
  • FanDuel/Valley Forge

More casinos are expected to launch their mobile sportsbooks by the end of the summer as they hope to get into the market before the crucial NFL betting season, which of course begins in September. In addition to the existing mobile sportsbooks that have already launched, we could see mobile sportsbooks from casinos by Mount Airy and Harrah’s Philadelphia by the end of the summer.
